Feeding pigeons at Boa Viagem beach, Recife

The following photos were taken at the Boa Viagem beach in Recife during an air show performed by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) as part of its Northeast Tour. It was a great show by the Esquadrão Fumaça (Smoke squadron) on a cloudy Sunday.

A few months ago I have published on this blog the Portugal’s National coach (Carlos Queiroz) autograph entitled “to the future”. I met Carlos Queiroz on board of a TAP flight returning to London from Brazil and I asked him to make the Boys play better as the Portuguese performance during the qualifying matches were very poor. He answered, saying that we must believe that we can achieve our goal. Today, I was listening in the radio the second play-off game between Portugal and Bosnia-Herzegovina, Portugal won the game and has qualified for the World Cup in South Africa next summer!
I should state that I do not like Queiroz’s management skills. However, Queiroz has delivered.
